Entertainment that fits your venue
Live music over dinner, a weekday quiz and a special celebration need different teams. Start with guest habits and the venue’s operating rhythm. Both a one-off booking and a series of evenings need a clear scope, a schedule and a named venue contact.

Give the programme a clear role
Decide whether the performance is the reason to visit or a background to conversation. Describe the audience, capacity, seating, service and sound limits. Musicians need set and break lengths, a host needs participation details, and technicians need a floor plan and connection requirements.
- Align the start with kitchen and service timings.
- Identify where guests listen, talk and dance.
Compare the same booking conditions
Use specialisation, language and geography to narrow the directory. Request a programme outline, format example, team size and site requirements. Separate performance, equipment, setup, travel and overtime in the quote. Discuss recurring dates individually: a listing is not confirmation that a performer is free every Friday.
Prepare for a smooth working evening
Agree load-in, sound checks, changing space and finishing times. Assign a staff member to welcome the team and resolve practical questions. Discuss cancellation, substitution and late-arrival contact. You can approach GILVEM for an overall event concept; individual directory suppliers agree their own services and conditions directly with you.
